"Eat Less And Exercise More" is the Bernie Sanders of Diet Plans. Or, Bernie Sanders is the Eat less And Exercise More" Diet Plan of Politicians. I'm not sure which way it goes.
Both are the time-tested ways of getting anything done.
Both are straight-forward ways of approaching a very complicated problem that EVERYONE will try to tell you "Oh, no, it's not THAT simple! You need a gimmick! You need to be able to work the game! It just doesn't work like that! Less carbs! No taxes!"
But in the end, it all boils down to what actually gets stuff done. If you want to see any REAL change, none of the rabble-rousing is going to work. Count calories, build a wall, use a Fitbit to track your steps, raise taxes... it all works in the short run but never leads to any real, lasting change.
Eat less, exercise more, vote for Bernie :)
