082 - Lamps
Jun. 20th, 2016 08:11 amToday being the first day of Summer AND the first official Weekday of Molly's Summer Vacation, I'm letting her sleep in while I make a list of plans. Not just for today, but for the whole summer
First off, I *need* to work on my lamps for AT LEAST AN HOUR today. I decided i want to get an hour of lamp-making in every day, for five days a week. Or at the very least, five hours per week (so I *could* do it all on a Tuesday and then have the rest of the week off). I think I may make videos of this and upload to YouTube...
I also need to dedicate at least 45 minutes to Housework each day, which will *hopefully* result in having the weekends free for frivolity.
Once or twice a week, Molly and i will be going to the super-cheap Regal Cinemas Summer Movie Express, which allows us to see two older family movies per week for just a buck each! Really looking forward to seeing The Iron Giant for the first time this way :)
Whenever we go to a movie, we will probably make a full day of it and tape a new episode of Cheeseburger Summer for her YouTube channel, which will mean an evening of video editing for me :)
On FRIDAYS, if at all possible, I would like to take my family with me to Goodwill Outlet looking for lamp materials. This will of course be dependent on our health and how tired my poor Schmoopie is after a long week of work.
Weekends, I want to try and get in to some more local craft shows and conventions. This is dependent on me making more lamps, AND on me finding shows that aren't already sold out :/
OTHER THINGS: Set up an Etsy shop, get a Business License, continue with my Holly Hills Game Night events.
BIG STUFF: Road Trip to Idaho so we can actually see the stars, plan a trip to Friday Harbor to see my Sister, bring my Mom to stay with us for a week, lots of BBQ at local parks where Molly can ride her bike, trade in our car for a minivan, set up a Comics Subscription Box at a local shop, make 80's Coloring Books, check B&N for theior clearance table.
I think that does it?
