Many of you seemed to be upset at the proposal of my Fluffer-Nutter Sandwich. Just to remind you, that's a peanut butter, chocolate chip, bananna, marshmallow-fluff sandwich on white bread, grilled till the chocolate chips melt, served with one scoop of vanilla Ice Cream on top.

What's wrong with that?

Break it down, it's actually quite healthy! 2 slices of buttered toast, a bananna, 2 Tbsp. of peanut butter, half a hershey's bar worth of chocolate, and about a marshmallow worth of Marshmallow fluff. Oh, and one scoop of ice cream. You probably eat more than that without even thinking of it in a day! I just had the genius to put it all together!

Gosh that sounds good. I used to eat my dad's version of Fluffernutters a lot. They were much more tame than yours though. They were just marshmallow fluff and peanut butter on bread. Your method though... I'm gonna have to write that down and take it back to school with me in the fall so I can eat it on those days when I need to indulge. Don't tell me it's healthy! Healthy foods are no good for indulging! No good! Bring on the stuff that's gonna make my arteries slam shut!

And best of all, it's a totaly dorm-room-safe meal that can be prepared with an ordinary clothes iron!

There's just something about Marshmallow-Fluff that I don't care for. Perhaps it's the texture? I might like it without the bread, if the Fluff were all mixed in - but then it would be an ice cream sundae.

On an unrelated note, one of my cats is nicknamed Princess BooBoo Fluffer-Nutter.

No, you've got it all wrong! See, its the *combination* that makes it all so good! Everything seems to be wrong... the Marshmallow Fluff, the grilled White Bread, the ice cream on top of it all... but when it all comes together, it all makes perfect harmony!

It wasn't too far back that people said "Sure I like chocolate... but fill it with Peanut Butter? Ugh! Why would I want to do THAT?!?!"

All i can say is that everyone I have ever been able to talk in to trying one has fallen in love with it. But getting them to try it the first time is the biggest hurdle.

And since you mentioned silly cat names, we have two of them; Hufflepuff Van Whiskersface and Joey Chicka-Ping-POW! I wish I had thought of something with Fluffer-Nutter in it :)

I've read the break-down about five times now and...well...No, I don't see how it's 'quite healthy'.

Okay, look at what you've eaten so far today. And I mean *everything*, including snacks.

How much fruit have you eaten?
How many grain products have you eaten?
How many dairy products have you eaten?
How much pretien have you eaten?

In just *one* delicious meal, I've gotten all the nutrition I nee dfor the day in less calorieds than a King-Size Snickers Bar! *That*, I consider healthy!

"The fried egg is wrong, the chili and the fried egg are wrong.   But put them all together and they are great." You might be onto something.
