Answers to the Nick-Names quiz I posted yesterday for you all, becuase I know you wouldn't have been able to live without knowing Squiggy's real name.

(1) "Boner" was from the show Growing Pains. His best buddy was of course Mike Seaver, and his real name was Richard Milhouse Stabone.

(2) "Gooshie" was from the show Quantum Leap (*he was the programmer/opperator that Al would always yell to through his hand-link communicator). His best friend (as far as we knew) was Ziggy (the computet that ran all the probability for why Sam had leaped in to a particular time). Thanks to Sam's swiss-cheese meory, the only name we know Gooshie by is "Gooshie".

(3) "Stinky Sullivan" was another one from the show Growing Pains. But *this* nick-maned character was the best friend of BEN Seaver. All sources indicate that Stinky was indeed named "Stinky" by his parents, and that his brother's name was "Funky".

(4) "Lumpy" was from the show Leave it To Beaver. i was really supprised that no one knew that! His best friend was Wally Cleaver. His real name was Larry Mundello.

(5) "Cockroach" was from The Cosby Show. His best buddy was Theo Huxtable. His real name was Walter Bradley.

(6) "The Gooch" was from the show Diff'rent Strokes. He was the never-actually-seen "Bully" who led Arnold down the path to evil many a time, but then eventually befriended Arnold. His real name was never revealed.

(7) "B.A." was from The A-Team... it was Mr. T! His best buddy could have been any of ther other members of the team - Hannibal, Face, or "Howling Mad" Murdock. Although B.A. stood for "Bad Attitude", his real name was Bosco Barracus.

(8) "Fonzie" was of course from Happy Days. His bestest buddy was his motorcycle, Chachi, or Richie Cunningham (all were acceptable answers). His real name is Arthur Fonzarelli.

(9) "Squiggy" was from Laverne & Shirley. His best buddy was Lenny. His real name was Andrew Sqiggman.

(10) "Shaggy" was from any number of "Scooby Doo" incarnations. His best buddy was of course Scooby, and his real name is Norville Rogers.

BONUS: "Lord Bowler" was from one of my all-time FAVORITE shows, The Adventures Of Brico County Jr. His best buddy (and also bitterest enemy) was Brisco. His real name (only mentioned once on the show) was James Lonefeather.

Heehee. I don't know much, but I did know Shaggy's real name. And who Fonzie was. But yeah. Most of those shows were before my time. Though I watched the Cosby show and Webster when I was 4.

Yeh danged Whipper-Snapper! Waitaminit... Brisco County Jr. was from like '92 or so... the same year X-Files started (it was on in the 8pm time-slot right before X-files for the first season)! You have no excuse there! And it was even a Bruce Campbell TV show!

Ah yes true. That one was when I was around. If I had known Bruce Campbell was in it at the time (though I know now. You know, in his book and all. :P) then I definitely would have watched it. What am I talking about? I didn't know who Bruce Campbell was in '92. My view of the world was very limited up until around 2000. That was the first summer I spent at a college with kids my age away from my parents. And I was introduced to all of the cult classics and beauty that I so love today. :P

::giggles:: don't worry. You're not as old as my parents, so you're not too old yet. You're 16 years younger than them. See. Not old. Only 10 years older than me. I know plenty of very cool 30 year olds.
::grins:: I mean hey, Jonny Depp is 40 and he's got the cool market cornered.
