Even though I was sick during my interview (some would say that an interview can not be salvaged after the interviewee has said "Sorry I hocked-up that huge phlegm-loogie on your desk")... even though the HR person called me *twice* to ask questions about glaringly WRONG information on my resume ("I'm just checking over your resume here, and BDXP says you only worked there for 2 years instead of 3. Also, these references... are they real people?)...

Despite these issues, I got the job at Comcast! They called on Friday and offered me the position, which starts on December 1st. Christmas won't have to be postponed this year after all! YAY!!!

Just as a reminder in case you forgot, this is the job where they will be PAYING me to WATCH TV.

It is a very good day!

First off: Move To Seattle. We've got Nintendo and Microsoft headquartered here, so there's all your video game jobs. As far as the watching TV jobs go, you just have to check out http://www.comcast.com and hope that they have positions open in your area. Customer Service is the department that watches TV all day long :)

Congrats! A friend of ours does that job here for American Cable. Then he goes home and watches TV on his days off.
