On my way to WORK now! No time for big updates, I'm going to WORK! WORK, where I will do a JOB! For the first time in just over 2 years, I will be WORKING!

Work :)

Also, I realized this weekend that I will be making more a tthis job than I have ever made at any other job, including the year I spent as a salaried Marketing executive for Birthday Express. And that's at the BOTTOM rung of Customer Service that I'll be making all this money!

My experience with BDXP? Well on the one hand it was wonderful, on the other hand it was terrible.

I started out as a phone rep, back when they were just Birthday Express and just beginning to have a web page. High sales, low call times, and countless accolades from customers led me to the top, and moved me to the just-opening On-Line Customer Service. I was the first agent to do "Live Help". I also answered all the "Ask Jan" e-mails that people would send in asking for advice on planning birthday parties. These were very good days :)

Then they moved me over to Marketing, working as the Affiliate Program Coordinator. Different building, soulless job, and a perky-professional boss who made coming to work in to a real chore every day. I hated it. it was a dissagreement between her and I that led to my leaving/being asked to leave Birthday Express.

When i worked there (3 to 5 years ago) it was a great little place to work! How about you? What was your story?

i was there for about a week...the training i was going thru was pissing me off, because it didnt seem organised enough. ...plus i was living in Magnolia and taking the bus to Kirkland was a pain in teh arse...i just didnt find it to be a great environment for me....
I dont remember alot about the place, but i remember there was a guy working there who was in a band...he was really nice...
eh anyway I am babbling again........
