This little tidbit from the Emerald City Comic Con update which I received this morning:
What makes this akward is the people that are hosting this; the owners of Docking Bay 97, Rob and Kerri. They are sort of old friends of mine... and sort of not.
Docking Bay 97 is a collectables store up in Burlington. CCG's, Collectable action figures, toys, RPG's, and a few stand-up arcade games from the 80's. A great place to hang out when you're from a small town and are unemployed, ya know?
So then I moved to Seattle, leaving them all behind. And when I came back, i was given the COLDEST of cold shoulders by Rob and Kerri. So now whenever i venture up North towards Burlington I just say a little prayer that I won't have to run in to them anywhere.
Of course, this was right around 10 years ago... I wonder if they even remember me?
* The Emerald City ComiCon and Docking Bay 97 are proud to present The Ladies of Star Wars: Michonne Bourriague (Aurra Sing - Episode I) & Amy Allen (Aayla Secura - Episode II). They will be appearing and signing autographs at Docking Bay 97 (currently Booths B1-B3).
