captain_slinkyDon't forget that FREE COMIC BOOK DAY> is coming up real soon! July 3rd, that is! Just go to any participating comic book store anywhere in the world (check the website for the nearest location) and get a free comic book or two! Some shops restrict you to just one or two, other shops let you take as many as you like! And we're not talking about cheapy little photocopy-n-stape comics put together by some crappy local artist who can't get published... we're talking BIG-TIME, MAIN-STREAM COMICS (as well as independent press stuff, too)! Spider-Man! Teen Titans! Mickey Mouse! Spawn! Real stuff that you don't have to pay for or buy anything or know something for... just come in and get 'em!
My local shop (The Comic Stop in Lynnwood) goes above and beyond by6 giving out all sorts f other cool free stuff like posters and figurines and keychains and.. well, just really cool stuff!
