Mixed blessings

captain_slinkyAparently the blood in my stool is nothing to be alarmed about. The doctor pressed on my belly, stuck his finger in my butt, gently kissed the back of my neck and took some blood. He's pretty sure that it's just a hemmeroid or something, and if it continues I should go see a specialist. So mixed blessing #1: A handsom man shoved his finger up my butt and told me I wasn't sick!
Also, I got my new schedule for the next six months today. I have been working 5pm till 2am, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, and this has played havock with being able to have anything that comes even close to a regular life. No weekends, and my days off are screwed up by me not even getting out of bed till some time after noon. So once every 6 months they do a full schedule re-alignment, which is everyone's opportunity to get a NEW shift, and I got my new shift! My new shift? 5:15pm till 2am with Monday and Tuesday off. So completely different! Mixed Blessing #2: I get to keep my job!
