Nov. 19th, 2002 09:30 amThere is a commercial running on the WB (you know... the TV channel that shows Smallvile, Birds of Prey, Dawson's Creek, etc...) for a showing of The Wizard of Oz this coming Sunday.
Thw thing is, though, they've Dubbya-Bee'd it to death! The commercial is making this timeless classic look like somewhere between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Felicity!
Don't get me worng... I think the commercial is GREAT! It's the first time I've ever seen The Wizard of Oz advertised as anything but "a must-see classic". I'm just kinda disturbed by it.
