This Sunday at the Seattle Center, it's The Seattle Center Com-Card Show! This one is small, but worth the $3 admission because the guest is Frank Cho (creator of
Liberty Meadows). This guy is quite possibly the greatest cartoonist since Walt Kelly! So yeah, I'll want to go to this show. Plus, this show is going to be so un-crowded! Just think about it:
-Last convention was just 2 weeks ago - everyone has gotten their comic-fix.
-Only a fist-ful of guests, most of them from WotC signing M:TG Cards.
-Big Star Trek Convention over in Bellevue this weekend will split the Geekulation between the two shows.
I figure this is going to be a great opportunity to swoop in and take advantage of desperate dealers who need to recover at least some of the money it cost them to get the table. And this time, I'm more focused in what I'm looking for! Gotta find all the Impact! Comics from the late 80's. Gotta find a Preacher action figure. Gotta find a Spider Jerusalem figure.
Hopefully, I'll see you all at the Convention!
