Yesterday (September 6th) marked the One Year anniversarry of our wedding! A whole year of not smothering eachother in our sleep! WOO!!!
So what did we do?
So what did we do?
- Exchanged Anniversarry gifts on Friday because neither of us has any type of patience. I'm pretty sure that the one-year anniversarry is "Paper", right? So we had agreed to get eachother books. She got me 3 books about Disney and/or Disney World (one on Imagineering that I have wanted forever, and two on actually planning trips to Disney World), plus $150 in to our Disney Fund (February - WOO!!!). I got her the colected encyclopedia of Magic: The Gathering, with pictures of every single card printed up to like 2 years ago (maybe further).
- Went ot the 50%-off sale at Value Village and will never ever make the mistake of going to Value Village on a 50%-off day again. MADNESS!!! We spent an hour in line! Ahh, but it was all worth it in the end, for I now have a HUGE letterman's jacket for this winter, and my wife has new pants!
- A sensible stop at Mr. Bill's restaurant on Aurora for breakfast. Usually, we come out of there so stuffed that all we want to do is take a nap (SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!!!), but this time we ate sensibly. A chicken burger for her, a fish burger for me, fries and a side of Onion Rings. We had energy to go on with our day!Drove to Snoqualmie to see the Snoqualmie Falls. Neither her nor I had ever been, so it was lots of fun! Found a nice little park n the river that we took some pictures at, nearly hiked down a trail till we realized that would require *walking*, then headed to The Falls. They were quite beautiful and I'm sure pictures will be posted soon in
's LJ. - Since we were in the general vicinity, we decided to stop by WotC to see if they were open so we could take some pictures. They were not open, but the security guard did wave at us, so... uhm... moving on.
- Went t the South Center Mall, or as it is called now, "The Weisfield Shopping Community" (or some other such nonsense). That mall is so much smaller than I remember it being! But at least we got to scope out sme good Christmas Presents!
- Neither of us was really hungry yet, so we drove back to Lynnwood and decided to go see "The Bourne Supremacy", which was only showing at The Crap Theater, so we then drove *back* to the Mount Lake 9. Sitting in the filfth and squalor of the Mount Lake 9 made me realize just how god we've got it with our newly renovated Alderwood Stadium Theater. The differences demand a seperate post.
- Then it was off to Bucca Di Beppo for our Anniversarry meal! The last time we had been here was exactly ONE YEAR AGO n our wedding day with P&C&B, and it was very nice!
