The Apology

Here, in it's entirety, is the text of my apology to the HR Rep I offended with my offensive doody humor:

I heard that you were a bit offended by the inappropriate tone of my e-mail to you the other day, and I wanted to apologize. I came by HR before my shift today to apologize in person, but you weren't there... then I passed you in the hall and nearly ran you over! Before I could say anything you were already gone, so I guess the best way/place to say I'm sorry is via e-amil for now.

I really am very sorry for the inappropriate tone and content of the mail I sent you; I didn't think I had actually sent it! It was my "first draft" of the message with a lame attempt at humor at the end to add some levity to the situation. It was not intended to be sent, but I apparently hit "Send" instead of "Delete". The second message that I sent (which was CC'ed to Peter and Pat and Resource, I do believe) was the final draft and should have been the only one you ever saw. Please be assured that it was not my intent to insult or offend you in any way, let alone send the mail in the first place! If I had wanted to offend you I would have said something about you fondling donkeys while drunkn sailors pay you in pesos to remove various pieces of clothing!

I'm kidding! I didn't really say the stuff about the donkey and the sailors and whatnot, be the rest of it was true. And I had ke7bo proof-read and verify the contents of the mail before I sent it, just to make sure I wasn't being obtusely and ignorantly insulting again.
