Boardgame Design
Aug. 14th, 2006 11:49 pmIn my spare time at werk, I've been designing a board game based on the Comic Book Convention experience. It's very fun to plan and everything, but I'm now at a point where I have to decide...
Stay true to my roots, or pander to the masses?
Do I play up the nerdy/dorky aspects of Comic Book Conventions such as the "Geek Stink" and "Pasty 32-year-old virgins staring at scantilly-clad Booth Babes" points? Or do I let the natural geekiness of the convention shine through without having to mock it in the process?
