Friday Five (9 minutes early)
Sep. 21st, 2006 11:51 pmI'd REALLY like to see this re-posted in to the journals of AT LEAST
dotgirl,
collisions and
nani_ka.
# Given a choice, and imagining that money and time were no object, would you rather cook dinner, eat out or order in? Since money and time are no object, I'd choose to order in. Because MOST restaurants tend to frown upon me dining in my underwear. But then again, since money is no object...
# What is the most elaborate meal you've ever prepared yourself or purchased at a restaurant? My memories are all fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure that
dotgirl and I (in ourt "Early 20's" years) would suddenly decide that we NEEDED to make a HUGE meal. Very large and elaborate pancake breakfasts... did that really happen?
# What food do you find yourself making and/or eating way too much? Jack In The Box. 1 Hamburger Deluxe, 2 regular Tacos, $2.14. It's my default meal. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it, but I occasionally wish I would just go and try something different.
# What was your most disastrous cooking/eating out experience? Many, MANY times I have attempted to make chicken or turkey broth and left the pan simmering for too long, resulting in a ruined pan and an apartment full of thick black smoke.
# Would you rather cook for someone else or have them cook for you? I really really REALLY enjoy cooking, even if I'm not that good at it. So yeah, I'd rather cook for someone than being cooked for.
