She's still awake.

We all got up at 7 this morning.

She only had an hour-long nap at noonish.

And she's STILL AWAKE.

Sesame Stret "Sleepy-Time Songs & Stories" had no effect. Well in to Mary Poppins now and still nothing.

I've run out of diapers :(

I don't think we'll be taking Mommy to work so that Punkin' and I can have the car in the morning, like I had planned.

On the PLUS-side

My failed Pre-Sliced Pot Roast made an EXCELLENT Tuscan-style beef stew!

I think.

At least that's how I always imagined a rich Tuscan stew would taste, the type of stew that demands to be served with crusty bread?

Is there even such a thing as a "Tuscan Stew"? I'm getting a bit loopy :P

Disney Princesses, Ink.

Sometimes these thoughts just come in to my head while I'm waiting patiently for Molly to fall asleep, and they DEMAND to be further explored as soon as possible!

Today's thought? What tattoos would/do the various Disney Princesses have?

Skip the cutesy answers (Cinderella = "I Heart Housework"). Skip the dodge-answer of "This princess is too pure and sweet to have a tattoo". We are assuing that they all have some ink done, and they don't know that they're the center of a major animated movie. Just regular girls who happen to be The Disney Princesses. Got it? Good.

SNOW WHITE: A bunch of those super-trendy poorly translated Japanese characters on her upper right-arm. Like she'll have ones that she was TOLD stand for Peace, Balance & Harmony. Unfortunately the uncultured tat artist got them *slightly* wrong so they're better interpreted as "Wind, Mayonnaise & Fish Paste". Also, a "Crying Heart" on her left shoulder blade.

CINDERELLA: One of those stylish "Celtic Arm Band" dealies, upper right arm. She got it on a dare during her bachelorette party and she pretends to regret it, but secretly it reminds her of some of the happiest days of her life when she catches a glimpse of it in the mirror.

AURORA (SLEEPING BEAUTY): A very discreet little rose on her left calve. She got it at Cinderella's bachelorette party becaus ehse NEVER would have thought that Cindy would have really gone through with hers! They kept taunting eachother with "I'm serious! Look at me! I'm in the chair! I'm gonna do it! No, YOU'RE the chicken! I'm letting him do it, right now! Seriously!" And now she has ink.

ARIEL (LITTLE MERMAID): I'm not sure what they're called, but it's like an ornate arrow in the small of your back pointing down to your ass crack as if to say "FANCY poop comes from HERE!" She got it because her Daddy told her she was forbidden to get one. This is also how she ended up getting several piercings.

BELLE (BEAUTY & THE BEAST): A very large, very detailed image of a Unicorn fighting a Dragon on her back. She saved her money for a LONG TIME to get this done, and the process was down-right excruciating. Her biggest regret is that it's on her back, where she can't really see it without a mirror.

JASMIN (ALADIN): A fierce tiger, left shoulder blade. She did it just to prove to herself that she could do it. No one was shocked, no one was impressed. Just one day "Oh, look. The Princess has a tattoo of a tiger on her shoulder blade."

MULAN: "Hello Kitty" on her right ass-cheek; Mickey Mouse "Flipping The Bird" on the left ass-cheek. She plans to get more, just has no idea what she wants to get yet.

POCAHONTAS: A crow over her right breast. She has no idea how it got there.

Did I miss any of them? I can't think of any other Princesses at the moment. If you comment below with a Princess that I missed, I can tell you what ink they have :)

Comic Book artist Mike Wieringo, dead at age 44.

How best to describe Wieringo to the non-nerd? He's one of those VERY distinct artists that makes it very obvious that you're looking at Wieringo art. He didn't draw super heroes; he drew *Icons*. That's really all I can say I guess. His run on The Flash and Impulse (a character that he co-created) were just fantastic.
