If all goes well...
Jul. 15th, 2009 09:37 amThe plan for today is to take Molly and Hannah to The Park so that I can sort the gazillions of comic books in the back of our car while they frollick. Then it's a trip to The Comic Stop where I *hope* they have DC Wednesday Comics #2 and Blackest Night #1, maybe even one of the Blackest Night promotional rings? Please?
The point of today's field trip is to show Hannah a Full Service Comic Book Store, complete with gaming tables, extensive inventory and a clean environment; completely unlike all the comic book shops she has seen on TV in various derogatory shows such as "The Big Bang Theory".
Hannah's Goblin Deck is coming along SLOWLY. So many cards to go through, so many defunct game mechanics to question and dismiss! "Why would I want to destroy a Face Down card? How did the card get Face Down, anywho?" Oh honey... that was something called "Morphing". It was like Bell Bottomed ZTrousers or the "Hummer" SUV... an idea that seemed really cool at the time, but ultimately has been proven by the ravages of time and good sense to have been just plain silly.
