Odd Tech Issue
Dec. 16th, 2009 07:48 amHave upgraded RAM and Wireless Card trying to fix this, still being an issue.
So when I'm using our wireless network to stream media to our TV (through a standard Desktop PC connected to the TV via S-Video), everything is fine. Hulu, Fancast, Pandora... all fine. Playing video off the networked drive over in my office-area is fine, too. No problems, it's awesome.
HOWEVER!
When I try to stream video from Netflix, the movie plays for 5 to 10 minutes before I get a great big "Your Internet Connection Has Slowed And Netflix Is Adjusting The Playback Quality To Compensate Please Wait" message. This leads to the entire discombobulation of my connection to the network.
Once I get that message, it's *like* my network connection has gone down. Unable to connect t any web pages. ABle to SEE other computers on the network but unable to access them ("You do not have permission to access this drive"). Network Connection is just fine, able to ping out just fine but that's all. I have to either reboot or repair the network in order to get back to good.
Any idea what's up wit dat?
