Relay Sleep

I was asleep for half of it, but I'm pretty sure last night went like this:

1) Crystal slept *hard* while I was awake with Allergies.

2) I slept *hard* while Crystal was awake with Allergies.

3) Crystal and I found it difficult to stay asleep while Molly was kicking/screaming/crying because of the Allergies.

4) All three of us slept *hard*.

One result was generated randomly every 10 to 15 minutes for some 8 to 9 hours till Crystal got up and went to work. I decided to get up shortly after her since I couldn't breathe any more and just wanted to stick a pen in my trachea so i could bypass the scratchy-wool passageway of my throat. And I'm sure it was no better for Crystal and Molly :(

Springtime... BAH!

IDW is Da Bomb, yo!

ne of the many, MANY prizes I won from the Seattle Geekly Star Trek Trivia Tweet-Up at ECCC this year was a Retailer Promotional Photo Cover copy of "Captain's Log: Sulu" from IDW Publishing. Pretty sweet!

(It should be noted that the prizes were provided by Quizmaster Larry Nemececk, as the event was just *hosted* by Matt & Shannon f the Seattle Geekly Podcast)

So yesterday I finally got around to reading this fine comic book.

PAGE 1: "Oh, okay, it's set in the Deep Space 9 part of the Universe. Awesome!"

PAGE 9: "What the hell? I hope they do a bunch of expository flash-backs soon... I'm kinda lost..."

PAGE 15: "Wait a minute... we're over half-way through the book and i still haven't seen Captain Sulu!"

LAST PAGE: "DEEP SPACE NINE ISSUE NUMBER 3 ON SALE SOON?!?!? What the - this is DS9 #2 inside a Sulu cover!!!"

I can't believe that it took till the VERY LAST PAGE for me to realize that this was not a Sulu comic book at all!

So I e-mailed IDW Publishing explaining the situation, expecting them to tell me to go to my local retailer or something... they responded IMMEDIATELY saying "Give us your address and we'll mail you a new one". It was just that easy!
