As an early Fathers Day present, today I went to The Comics Dungeon in the U-District to spend some of my hard earned Groupons. I bought *two* of the Groupons for this place when they were $13 for $30 worth of stuff, and then I received a third one for FREE becaue enough people clicked on my link to that deal *squee*!

So I went in there and gathered up $90 worth of fine product when the guy behind the counter very nicely informed me that it was a limit of one Groupon per visit :(

AAAAAAARGH!!! 3 hours of picking out stuff, and now I had to narrow my selections even further!

So back whent the 1950's Walt Diney Christmas comics. Back went the pile of JLA: Generation Lost back issues. Back went the Angel Variant Sketch Covers. Back went the Dalek T-shirt. Back, back, BACK!

Eventually settled on some wickedly awesome stuff though:
  • Rocketeer Adventures #1 - New stories of Dave Steven's greatest creation as told by other people. So pretty!
  • Hex #1 thru 9 - The last greatr incarnation of the cowboy character Jonah Hex, only somebody said "Hey let's make him be in THE FUTURE!"
  • Atomic Robo (Vol 3) #1 thru 5 (complete set) - My favorite comic currently being published :)

We also went to see Green Lantern at the theater (I loved it, don't see what everybody's grumbling about), and went to Red Robin for dinner. Also, Crystal and Molly made me a photo album full of great Molly & Daddy moments :)
