Tonight will signify the TWENTY-FIRST YEAR of me going to see Weird Al Yankovic in concert every time he has come to the greater Seattle area. Tonight in Tacoma will be the 15th time I've seen the man perform *live*. I've missed him *twice* when he has come to this State - the very FIRST time back in 1987 when he was the opening act for The Monkees, and one of the multiple times he came to the area in 2009 (I had already seen that version of his live show *twice*).

Twenty-One Years of dressing in Hawaiian shirts, bringing spatulas and noting the subtle differences in the "trance" part of the song "Yoda".

Four tour T-shirts ("Alapalooza", "Bad Hair Day Tour", "2010 Concert" and "Alpocalypse"), A box of VHS/Audio Tape Bootlegs, every album, tape an CD ever produced in the USA and a lifetime membership in the Close Personal Friends Of Al Fan Club.

One in-person meet-n-greet photo of Al and I together as a momento of one of those times where I was an extremely awesome person and the Universe rewarded me for it.

Two blood-related nieces, one stronger-than-blood niece, one old school chum, on best friend, one date-that-I-didn't-know-was-a-date. one love of my life and (as of tonight) on daughter that I have dragged along to these concerts with me.
