"Plan B", which was formerly "Plan A", shall now be known as "The Plan"

Because I am who I am and tomorrow (FREE COMIC BOOK DAY) is like the Christmas of my people, I usually like to plan it out. The basic plan every year has been to gather as many NEW folks as I can to take in to comic shops with me, go get Free Comic Books with them, then go and enjoy the latest big-screen comic book movie (which always coincides with Free Comic Book Day). Since it is always the weekend before my Birthday, we then go and enjoy free stuff that a fellow gets, like a burger at Red Robin or som Ice Cream at Stone Cold Creamery. It's tradition :)

Yesterday, we came *thisclose* to having a variation in the tradition. Much of the day was spent trying to configure a workable plan of action that would get a truckload of folks up here for the event! A malfunctioning window in our minivan, a Prom and a school suspension diverted THAT plan at the last moment, though, and so we are back to Plan A, which is the same plan as we always have :)

"The Plan"

My comic book store of choice (Corner Comics in Kirkland - they're just so darned friendly!) opens at 10am. Iron Man 3 in NOT 3-D (I hate 3-D so much) has showings starting at 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 2:50pm and 4:10pm.

THE PLAN is to go get comics as soon as they open, then speed on down to the theater. If we 11am showing is sold out, we will buy tickets for the 1pm show and then head over to Red Robin for my FREE Birthday Burger to pass the time :) If we DO make it in to the 11am showing, thn burgers will wait till after the movie.

Stack of comics will make the time pass nicely :)

Game Night Tonight!

It's our weekly Game Night tonight, and you're invited!

Menu shall be Chili, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Cookies, Chips and whatever non-boozical drink you choose to bring and ingest :)
