More convention blather
Oct. 11th, 2013 07:05 amWoke up at 5am because I'm just too darned excited for tomorrow! This is weird for me, as usually I'd be a panicky mess right now trying to put stuff together at the last second, fretting over how many boxes I can cram in to the minivan and if I should bring this particular thing or that and where are my sharpies and post-it notes and OMG I FORGOT TO GET CHANGE and oh cripes I don't think this stuff is gonna fit on the top of the Minivan*, but ya know what?
IT'S ALL DONE. Finished the last of it (strapping crap to the top of the minivan) last night at about 7pm. Only thing left to decide about is if I have any room left at all in order to bring my signed Hal Sutherland "Orko" animation cel from Masters of The Universe - it may just have to wait till next year!
I have a Denny's coupon printed out so we can have a cheap dinner tonight. I have reservations at the hotel. I have EVERYTHING.
I'm not used to being this prepared...
*(I could teach a class on Griswoldian Theory when it comes to strapping stuff to the top of a vehicle - looks like the car from National Lampoon's Vacation!)
