If you know me, you know that I LOVE ZOMBIES. Started with the Evil Dead films which was like a gateway drug in to George Romero's world from "Night Of The Living Dead". There's something about the whole Zombie Apocolypse thing that just really, REALLY scares and excites me! Maybe it's the survival instinct kicking in, i dunno. But I'm just absolutely fascinated by it.

So you'd think that when George Romero finally returns to the genre of Zombies, I'd be really excited. Right? Well here's the trailer for the new movie:

Where do I start? The feel of the "Of The Dead" trillogy has always been unclean and unprofessional. This one looks as slick as a Showtime Original Movie. But I might be able to forgive that... the Dawn Of The Dead remake was kinda slick and yet I thurroughly enjoyed that!

I guess it all boils down to just two lines from that trailer.

"They're getting smarter... organizing!" Bullshit. Zombies don't get smart, they don't learn, they don't organize. They stagger around and pound on stuff till they find flesh to devour. That's what makes them so scarry! If I set one on fire and it dies in front of the other ones, the other ones shouldn't give a crap. They won't learn from seeing that; they'll just keep coming at me. And THAT'S scarry! No matter how smart I am, how clever I might be, I could always get devoured by a hungry mindless mo who just doesn't give a fuck. Kinda like the last election when you think too much aout it...

Oh, and number 2? Dennis "I was in Easy Rider" Hopper, as a business man, saying "Whoa... zombies!" Need I say more?

So to sum it up, I was thurroughly underwhelmed by the trailer for this movie. Unless I see a better trailer, I probably won't even go see it. ME! The zombie-lover! What's up with that???

Based on the images seen in the trailer, I think their main complaints are that the Health Plan doesn't cover dentistry and dermitology.
