The magic is gone :(
Nov. 27th, 2005 10:39 amEvery year for the past 15 years or so, I have made hand-made figures for my parents every Christmas (and other holidays as well, but mainly Christmas) out of Sculpey oven-bake clay. They're cute, usually holiday-themed, and I really enjoy making them.
I've been sitting here at my desk for nearly three hours now trying to make something out of Sculpey, and it's just not happening. Everything I start to make just comes out looking lumpy and retarded, or completely not what I had in mind, or just gets trashed half-way through.
Is it gone? Have I lost the "The Touch"? Or am I just so stressed-out by work that I can't let the "Magic" flow???
It's a terrible, terrible thing to be creatively impotent :(
