You may NOT call up and preface the call by saying "And I'm a pretty tech-savy person so I know what's going on here" and then just moments later say "No, see, the AOL Instant Messenger and my Outlook Express don't use the *internet* to send and receive messages, they use something else so I KNOW it's something wrong with the Comcast Internet and not my computer".

I'll be that's it! Because anybody smart enough to use AOL Powered By Comcast (wherein you pay Comcast $45 a month for internet then also pay AOL another $20 per month just so you can use their website, e-mail and search tools) would be cutting-edge enough to use CPTP! After all, he *did* figure out all on his own that if he sticks a music CD in his computer it plays music...
