Time for another killing spree; I just saw the ad for Bambi 2. And it features the voice of Patrick Stewart.

I'm not really mad at the Disney Company for this because they're just following the money. It's not as if they would just throw money at a blatantly awful and blesphemous project that no one in their right mind would ever buy. Quite the contrary! I'm sure they had focus groups, marketing departments, independent survey takers and all sorts of other market data that showed not only would a sequel to Bambi be a good idea, but there were enough people out there who would buy it at $20 a pop to make it cost-effective to go ahead with the project!

That means there's a good sized chunk of the populace (in those Red States I'll betcha) that saw Bambi and said "Wait, I'm confused! There are so many unanswered questions! Such a complex story line... I need MORE!"

And THAT is why I'm going on my killing spree. SOMEONE'S gotta thin out this herd, dag-nabbit!

If it's anything like the one they teased in "UHF," that will be one awesome movie.

mmm So... is it going to be like "A Lion In Winter" where Bambi jerks all his projeny around, tricking them into killing each other, or otherwise disqualifying themselves for the crown, while he argues with his mate?

Inquiring minds want to know.

My guess is it will involve lots of slick computer-drafted images prancing around saying nothing that could be found potentially offensive and/or entertaining.

That just doesn't sound like something Jean-Luc would ever be willing to do.

When it comes to voice-over work, he's not that picky. He did a cartoon movie called "The Page Master" with Macauley Culkin back in the day, and we all know how beloved THAT piece of kiddie-cinema is!

I heard he has admitted to being a voice over whore, the money is really good and the job is easy.
Nice to be a baritone isn't it.

I'll bet Q is behind this!

Or

It was when he was Borg. This was just one more thing that he would normally never do.
