Gratuitous profanity

I rarely ever use profanity just because it's such a "common" and "unintelligent" way to express your emotions. But tonight?
Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuckity-fuck. And shit. What the Fuck MOTHER-Fuck is this cluster-fuck piece of fucking shit???
It's 9:30 at night and we have 63 people on hold, the longest wait has been holding for 25 minutes! And of course they want us to log our next three calls in the Trending Log... you wanna know the only trend I've seen so far? Everyone who has been without internet for the past 3, 4 or 7 days as decided that TONIGHT, right *now is the PERFECT time to call in and complain about it.
They didn't call in when the internet went down.
They didn't call in when it had been down for 24 hours in a row.
The didn't even call when it became DAYS without service.
No, they decided that Thursday at 9:30 was gonna be the opportune time to call in. JOY!
A lot of this, of course has to do with the nifty "Virtual Hold" program we have installed that allows the customer to hang up and wait for a "call back" once their place in the cue comes up. Unfortunately, THe Law says we can't call back after blah-blah hour at night (9:00? 9:30?), so all those people who WOULD have been called back EVENTUALLY, now are getting called back RIGHT NOW and added back in to the cue.
Took me 15 minutes to write this post, and now we've got 55 holding for 23 minutes. SO at least it's going down! WOOT!
But still... FUCK!!!
