We've got MOVIE SIGN!!!
Jun. 29th, 2006 10:22 pmSince I have Friday off, we'll be going to see a movie matinee! But which movie?
We're already going to see Superman Returns on Sunday at the Imax theater, but I'd kinda like to see it once without the 3-D effects added, and sitting in the seats that are MY seats (7th row from the front, 12 seats in). And it's certainly not as if I'm gonna look back and say "Dang! I saw Superman Returns too many times in the theater!" Superman Returns shows tomorrow at our FAVORITE theater (the uncrowded one near the mall) at 9:40, Noon, and 12:30 (the showings I am considering).
Also showing at that theater is Disney/Pixar's new one, Cars. I'm not so hot on seeing this film because the subject matter just doesn't really appeal to me, but I gotta see it because it's Pixar and, well, every Pixar film is MAGIC. Cars shows tomorrow morning at 9:50, 10:15 and 12:40.
Across the street at The Big Theater in the Mall Parking Lot we have X-Men: The Last Stand. I have not yet seen this movie, and it saddens me that I my not get to see it on The Big Scereen; th eonly X-Men movie that I'll have missed in the theaters! I could take this opportunity to remedy that. X-Men: The Last Stand shows at 11:40.
And also across the street is the Dreamworks CG kids flick Over The Hedge. I've always wanted to see it, and now I've got co-werker parents telling me it's a must-see! The best animated film from Dreamworks since Shrek! Over The Hedge shows at 11:20.

Date: 2006-07-03 06:49 pm (UTC)I saw Over The Hedge and liked it a lot, and Xmen was good too. I am going to go see Superman at the Drivein tonight. (July 3rd.) It's playing with the new Poseidon movie, and you can't beat a double feature where you get to blast the sound and bring your own food! When the Superman theme music plays, my wife may need to plug her ears. :)
