Seeing as how I pretty much frittered away my entire weekend (although WOW what a great weekend!), I have decided to make a list of "Daily Accomplishments" for this upcoming week:

    MONDAY
  • List at least three things on Ebay
  • Ship packages

    TUESDAY
  • List at least three things on Ebay
  • Pack boxes to take to the storage unit

    WEDNESDAY
  • List at least three things on Ebay
  • Pack MORE boxes to take to the storage unit.
  • Take boxes of stuff to the storage unit

    THURSDAY
  • List at least three things on Ebay
  • Pack MORE boxes to take to the storage unit.
  • Take boxes of stuff to the storage unit

This should leave my next weekend wide open for upgrading Schmoopies OS to Windows XP, and taking a few hours on Friday or Saturday to do some hard-core organimization of our storage unit! My goal here is to get as much stuff out of our apartment as possible, opening up more space and making it easier for when we eventually move in December (he said hopefully). Because as I look around the apartment right now, all I see is a solid WEEK of gathering and packing and moving stuff. When the time comes, I want this move to be as easy as possible! Pay some students to move out desks, bed, chairs and couch, then be DONE with it!

Yeah, I tend to *try* and keep everything under the Captain Slinky trademark... but as it is right now my ebay UID is "hulkalicious". Not currently selling anything, but that will all change by tomorrow afternoon if everything goes according to plan!

Groovy. I do tons of ebaying. Mostly buying, but some selling too. I've added you to my favorite sellers :D

Excellent! I'll see what I can come up with! Over the next few days it's gonna be mostly old-skool gaming stuff, a couple of Avalon Hill games from the 60's, a vast amount of odds-n-ends...

Any requests? I've got two storage units full of stuff!

Hmm. The only old stuff I can think of on my list is the Elfquest RPG, but those are going for premium prices even in trashed condition these days. $20 for an old game in a broken box is pretty hefty!

Two storage units? Did you have another store at some point? I know you had the one in Anacortes for a while.

Had the one store in Anacortes for little over a year, back in '92-93... and I've been gathering STUFF ever since! Mostly games and pop-culture collectables from garage sales and thrift stores that I knew would be collectable (and I was right)... I have successfully accumulated everything I never got to own during my childhood :)

Sold my copy of The Elfquest RPG and the Wolfriders lead figure set about four years ago... got like $60 for the set at the time.

If you find an EQ game at any garage sales you let me know, k? ;-)

Do you make back your storage fees with ebay sales? My buddy planned to open a comic book store and wasn't able to but has a ton of product he's trying to move on ebay right now.

I doubt that I make back the storage fees every month, but it's okay... we've got lots of our regular stuff mixed in with it so it's just another part of our regular expenses
