captain_slinky | Of Robots and ZOMBIES!!!

Went out in search of a local copy of Robo Rally. Found one at The Comic Stop, but they wanted FIFTY BUCKS for it! I love the game, but not THAT much. However, sitting right next to iton the shelf? A semi-reasonably priced copy of a long coveted game, ZOMBIES!!! So I picked up the core set (whick looks like it can be modified in to more of a strategic RPG of sorts using my All Flesh Must Be Eaten rulebook from a few years back. Sure it's fun to play "random survivor trying to get to the hellicopter", but wouldn't it be just that much better to play "Reverend McIntyre, the dissolusioned Catholic Priest who has lost his faith in God after he watched his own wife come back from the dead and devour their two children before he was able to bludgeon her to death with a Crusifix"?

Anywho, looks to be a great game and it has 4 or 5 different expansions for me to get in to as well! Happy Day for Captain Slinky!!! THIS will be the game we play on Friday with

zannah that The James might be able to get a copy of Robo Rally for me for like $35, which would totaly rock! Since my set of Pirates of The Spanish Main cards sold for $93 (HOLY CRAP!!!), I don't think I will have any qualms about buying both games :)
