New Shift!

captain_slinkyStarting Sunday October 29th, I have a new shift! It's the same as my old shift, only I have Sundays and Mondays off instead of Fridays and Saturdays.
And why am I so happy about this?
First of all, this will give me a FOUR DAY WEEKEND when the shift switches over! Friday the 27th, Saturday the 28th, Sunday the 29th AND Monday the 30th. Then I'll be coming in to work at 5:30 on Halloween.
Secondly, I'll be off the forever accursed "Sunday and Monday" shift! Of dear LORD how I hate working on Sundays and Mondays! Sundays are notoriously under-staffed, Mondays are no different.
And last but certainly not least, Christmas Eve is a Sunday and Christmas Day is a Monday. Same with New Years Eve and New Years Day! THis was by far the most important reason to get Sunday and Monday off because there was NO WAY I was gonna miss Molly's very first Christmas!
I don't care if the call volume stays crappy all night long (which it looks like it's gonna do) because I am officially in a very good mood :)
