1,182 miles to Disney Land.

1,180 of those miles are on I-5.

I somehow find that encouraging!

My Mom has vowed to put away $1 for each mile I walk towards Disney Land for our trip. How cool is that?

Disney has their own exit off the I-5 in Anaheim. It basically goes from the freeway to the parking garage.

WOW. And *I* practically have MY own exit off of I-5, too! I *knew* I should have kept my Maiden name of "164th St Mill Creek" instead of changing it when I got maried...

I-5. The Highway of Dreams. You will need a car costume though. They don't let pedestrians walk on the highway ;-) However, the way traffic is in some areas, you might be faster on foot.

That is a great way to set a goal, by the way. Quite creative. When you get to Chico, California, let me know. I'll come walk with you. I almost got struck by lightning in Chico. They have a lot of olives there too. Except that I don't really like olives. I think I'm too tired and silly to type any more. Good Night.

Sure you won't have just one more non-sequiter transition in your post before going to sleep? You may not get another chance...

I'm sure being the well read being that you are, you will find an even cooler costume than Optimus Prime.

just make sure the costume has a childseat for Molly. She wouldn't like it if you walked to Disneyland without her.

But that is the cool thing about Optimus Prime. He's got that little robot car thing in the back. Sort of like a remote controlled stroller!

Sorry, not enough of a fan to remember its name.

His name was "Roller". If I remember coreclty, he was made of blue plastic for the very first run of Optimus Prime's, and for the Optimus with the "Pepsi" trailer. All other versions were made of black plastic. It's how you can tell just how old/rare of an Optimus Prime you have.

Sometimes I wonder just how much of my brain's hard-drive space I'm wasting on such information...

Sacrilege! NO ONE is too old for Disneyland. I'm 22 and I still want to go. (Never been, only been to Disney World with my Aunt and Uncle.)

that's cool of your mom to save up for you like that! By the time you have walked to Disneyland you may have earned enough to actually go there!
