J. Michael Straczynski and Phil Jimenez have just been added to the roster!

HOKEY FRIGGIN' SMOKES!!! J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI!!!* He's one of those names on my wish-list of Folks I'd Like To See At A Convention** that I always assumed I'd have to travel several States away from in order to see! At the very least California!

THANK YOU, ECCC!!! My next child will be named after you for this! Do you suppose it's pronounced "Eck-k-k", or just a straight-forward "Echh"?

*Why do you care? J. Michael Straczynski is a name that crosses nearly all genres of Fandom. From H-Man to Babylon 5 to Spider-Man, he's had his hand in all of them (ew).

**That list, by the way, would include Stan Lee, Frank Miller, Kevin Smith, Chuck Norris, Nathan Fillion, Mark Evanier, Keith Giffen and/or Mr. T.

Neil Gaiman *was* on my list, till the year i owned a comic book store and got invited to the Capital City Distributors Retailer Dinner in Seattle. It was to kick-off the launch of the "Vertigo" imprint... Such a cool experience!

Ennis, yeah, sure... but he's in the same league as Alan Moore and/or Warren Ellis for me. Those folks just don't DO shows :(
