Completely unrelated question: Have you ever heard the comic book podcast I'm in, "Nine Panel Nerds?" I think you'd like it.

Or you can just get it straight from iTunes by searching for "Nine Panel Nerds."

Have any podcasts you can recommend me?

The Podcasts I listen to are... different.

There's A Window To The Magic (http://www.windowtothemagic.com) that's a great walk-through of stuff at Disney Land. I *never* miss an episode.

And then there's The Mad Music Show with Captain Wayne (http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/madmusicshow.aspx)... it's The Doctor Demento Show for The Electronic Age :)

I have a friend who would probably enjoy the Disney one. I hope you like NPN!

Okay, just listened to my first episode of NPN and I have two questions:

Was the least 30 minutes taped at an extra-low volume as some sort of gimmick to try and make me have to train and pay attention, or was it just That Guy sitting too far away from the microphone?

Secondly, is one of the guys named Bryan Cross? If so, could you ask him if he ever lived in Washington? I went to elementary school with a kid named Bryan Cross who was the only kid in my school whom I could consider an equal when it came to comic nerdifity and it would be SO COOL to connect with him again!

The guy who was really quiet was just far away from the mic since he's not a normal member and didn't have a seat. And sorry to disappoint you, but Cross has lived here his whole life. He's my roommate and best friend, so there's no need to ask. :-) We're actually all local guys, most of whom have lived in CT or MA our whole lives.

Other than that, did you like it?

Bummer... would have been nice to contact The Guy who introduced me to the world of Back Issues! Before *MY* Bryan Cross, comic books were to be found at convenience stores and garage sales ONLY.

Anywho, VERY enjoyable podcast! I'll keep listening and spreading the word! Meanwhile, if any of you guys ever decide to come to the Emerald City Comic Con, I've got a nice futon couch that can be reserved for free accommodation!
