Figured it out

I know why my Geek-o-tone level is so low... I haven't been to a Convention of any kind in OVER A YEAR! The greater Seattle Area (including Oregon and Canada... I'm that desperate) had only a fistful of very weak conventions this year with guests that could barely inspire a yawn from a very sleepy baby. The chick that draws Bitchy-Bitch, the guy who inks Iron Man... these were like the *big* guests this year, so i didn't go.
Last year, I got a MUCH needed booster shot when I attended the Mid Ohio Con... Weekend after Thanksgiving, huge 3-day convention of everything geeky. Very nice, and filled me with enough pop-culture excitement to get me through the rest of the year! But this year, we couldn't afford the trip to Ohio, and now I am in a Geek Slump :(
Hopefully, I'll be getting a bunch of geeky stuff for Christmas, and that will fix it!
