Some six years ago, I asked dotgirl to DISCREETLY find out what khristle's ring-size was so i could buy an Engagement Ring for her. Being a dutiful "Best Man", she told me it wouldn't be a problem and she'd keep it all hush-hush and sure enough, within DAYS she had the ring size.

I didn't get around to proposing till several months after that.

BUT NOW THE TRUTH COMES OUT!!! You wanna know dotgirl's super-secretive ninja-like way of getting the ring size???

"So there's no real way to be discreet about this... Brian's going to propose to you and he needs to know your ring size".

I thought "find out the ring size" was the requirement and "be discreet" was a nice to have.

I fulfilled the requirements. Unfortunately, given time and resource constraints, I was unable to meet your 'nice to have' request.

I'm at home. I was at work for 16+ hours, though - 5pm yesterday to 9:30am this morning. By 8am, I was mostly just this drooling girl who had forgotten how nouns work.

I came home and slept for about 6 hours, and am feeling more human. I have to go back in from noon to 8 tomorrow, though.

Thank god I get overti-oh. Wait.
