captain_slinkyThe Obama Half-Hour Comedy Hour last night nearly brought me to tears and inspired me to go and fill out my absentee ballot IMMEDIATELY.
No dirty politics, no mud-slinging... just straight-forward HOPE.
The line that stuck with me the most was about further education in exchange for public service.
I had excellent, inspirational dreams all night long based around the things he said.
The only part that makes me sad is that it was probably ineffective. The people who NEEDED to be influenced by it were either refusing to watch (because they knew it was all lies anywho) or watching it and mocking it mercilessly (just like I would have been doing if McCain had attempted the same thing).
