HOLY CRAP IT WORKED!!!

Molly is watching "Word World" on PBS right now, and I know this is just simple regurgitation of information, but she SPELLED A WORD!

"Look, Daddy! Bee-Oh-Oh-Kay! BOOK!"

Also, another lesson she learned from childrens programming somehow? We were collecting leaves n the parking lot about twenty minutes ago and when a car came she ran to the sidewalk and said "C'MON DADDY! SAFETY FIRST!!!"

On the down-side of this, though.. whenever we see a metal Garbage Can she insists on checking to see if Oscar the Grouch is in there. But at least it's cute :)

Aurelia LOVES that show. LOVES. Definitely one of her faves.

I always have that catchy little tune in my head...
"It's time to build a word! Let's build it! Let's build it NOW!"

And of course Target has a billion different Word World toys, now. Even PBS shows are not safe.

I personally like to have my educational TV heavily dosed with commercialism :) If there had been a line of Electric Company action figures back in the day, who knows how differently i would have turned out?
