Weird Kid

Every morning when she wakes up, I ask Molly what she dreamed about. Usually, the answer is one or two words... "Park" being the number one answer.

Occasionally, I get something... different.

This morning, I asked her what she dreamed about. She stretched and said "Sleeeeeeeeep..." before closing her eyes. Then her eyes popped open wide and she said "HIDE!" before pulling the cover up over both our heads. Once under the covers I asked her what we were hiding from, and I *think* she said "FIVE DOLLARS!"

"What?" It had been somewhat garbled by sleepiness and the fact that she's only two, but I'm pretty sure that's what she said.

And then she grabbed me and kissed me.

Do you think this is something I should be worried about? Is she running some sort of black-market underground resistance in her dreams???

Perhaps she's been watching a bit too much of Better Off Dead?

Naaaaaah... we only watch John Cussak movies maybe three times a week so it COULDN'T be THAT.

I'll have to send you the picture I took when I walked into Julia's room & found that the toucan had tied the teddy bear's arms around the rungs of the bed behind him & was now sitting on his back/shoulders, forcing the upper body painfully forward. All this was apparently an interrogation technique & the bear was the recently dethroned king. There was even a line of plushy stuffed witnesses for the proceedings...
