Last night was the free screening on Kangaroo Jack. I went in to this movie with very low expectations, and *still* came away dissapointed. Even though the movie was *free*, i still felt I should have gotten my money back. I mean, hey, I enjoy racist stereotypes and prolonged fart jokes as much as the next guy (maybe even more!), but this movie just... it just...

It left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Granted, the computer generated kangaroo was incredible. It was seemlessly realistic. And that's hard to pull off when you're depicting a kangaroo that wears a red jacket and likes to Rap.

Aparently, the writer of this movie had an extensive collection of Archie comic books and lifted every single gag he could find for the making of this movie. But the BEST PART was the lady sitting behind us, who laughed hysterically through most of the movie and said insightful things throughout like "Oh, lookit dat DAWG! Where dat dawg? Oh, dere go dat dawg agin! He he he heee!"

If they could just hire that woman to show up at every showing of this movie from coast-to-coast, they just might get some good reviews!

Considered yourself mocked!

Nah, nah, nah, nah!

No... the dog was named "Waffles", and belonged to the stereotypical black man in the film (can't remember if he was Amos, or Andy). He was a fat black man who liked to "bust a rhyme", talked all "bling-bling", and even once in the movie mentioned that he wished he were at home right noew eating fried chicken with grits and gravy. Throw in some watermellon and some cotton picking, and we have the KKK's pick for the feel-good comedy of the year!
