The Giant Lego Dude sold for just $97 :(

It's a bummer because earlier in the week I had two different offers from people for $125 if I would just end the auction early. Those offers made me think "Ah HA! if they're willing to give me $125 *now* for it, I bet this one's gonna go through THE ROOF if I just let it go the full 7 days!"

The disappointing final bid is tainting my entire day so far. Why does this have to be such a bummer? I just made $95 off this deal! I should be happy!

*sigh*.

Molly is still asleep after a night where she and i didn't fall asleep till well after 2am for some reason. Both of us were tired. Both of us laid there in bed trying our darndest to sleep. Neither of us could fall asleep.

Be happy! Stop obsessing over how much you *didn't* make.

Man, you'd be miserable if you had a 401k or some other investments you watched. You'd grow several ulcers.

Don't even get me STARTED on my 401k! AAAAARGH!!! It wasn't much, but it was worth $6k before all this started and now is worth a coupon for 50-cents-off any Super-Size Combo Meal at participating Hardees restaurants.

WE DON'T EVEN HAVE ANY HARDEES IN WASHINGTON STATE!!!!

But yeah, I know... that's why I call it a Superficial Depression :/

Calm yourself. Are you still investing in any retirement funds? It's really a great time - you're 30+ years away from retiring, so everything will rebound. Right now it's like getting stocks on sale. I don't think of it as "My investments have lost 30%", I think of it as "I'm investing during a 30% off sale!"
