GEEK CAMP: HALEY

New week, new niece. Haley's Geek Camp will focus mainly on Magic: The Gathering so that she and her sister can play more at home and spread the disease to their friends.


Day 1 was Game Night.

Day 2 was Magic: the gathering and a viewing of Serenity.

And now, the rest of The Week!

MONDAY: Boffer construction and the art of SCA/LARP Fighting, M:TG Deck Construction, M:TG Pack Wars

TUESDAY: More M:TG Strategy and Deck Building, Boffer Battles, Dollhouse Missing Episode, Doctor Who episode "Blink" and/or Penn & Teller's BULLSHIT! episode about PETA.

WEDNESDAY: Field Trip to The Comic Book Store, Independent reading, M:TG, leftover viewing from Tuesday.

THURSDAY: Field Trip to WOTC, M:TG Draft (maybe Steve would like to come over?), more Doctor Who and/or BULLSHIT!

FRIDAY: Buying her first set of dice, Dice Blessing ritual, Dungeons & Dragons

Have you watched Torchwood: Children of Earth on BBC America on demand yet? 5 episodes and pretty decent story. I wouldn't add it to the camp (Dr. Who is better for that) but you might enjoy it.

So tonight, we have one laptop in the bedroom set up with Dr Who for us three. The other lap top can be set up for Molly (on the floor) with something she wants to watch.

I haven't watched ANY Torchwood yet except for the first two episodes... then lost interest. Have to go back and get caught-up!
