When testing your USB Ports, be sure to try several different USB cables instead of just one with several different ports and devices.

'Cuz... 'cuz it may not be your USB Ports. It, uhm... it just might be a bad USB cable.

I'm just sayin'.

Thanks... makes me feel better about having wasted some 6 hours last night trying different computers, different devices, updating drivers, deep virus scans, malware/spyware scans, hardware checks...
