I can't believe Emerald City Comic Con is just a few days away! I am *SO* unprepared! So on top of my usual hectic day that I have planned for today, I also need to:
  • Find my special Convention Back Pack
  • Make Chex Mix
  • Find an appropriate box for my Stanman cup to keep it from getting crushed
  • Check my list of Justice League comics, make sure I know what I still need
  • Pack my Superman DVD (they just added Ilya Salkind to the line-up a few days ago)
  • Pack my hardcover "Just A Geek" for Wil Wheaton to sign
  • Find/Pack my dice bag
  • Load all our media players with plenty of entertainment for while in line

Then there's my Convention Schedule:
  • Pick up Brittany @ Noonish on Friday
  • Take Molly to Grandma's House
  • Dinner = Pancakes, Eggs & Bacon
  • Hope Haley makes it in time for Dinner
  • In bed by 8pm
  • Up by 4am, out the door by 5am
  • Stand in line fr 4-6 hours
  • Get to Wil Wheaton's table first thing so I can sign-up for his D&D Dungeon Delve
  • Buy something awesome for Crystal
  • Meet her in line for the Wil Wheaton/Leonard Nimoy/Stan Lee room
  • Read some comics while in line
  • Geek out

Ooooh, I need to make a game plan too. I have TONS to catch up on, so inventory should be done at home today. Also figuring out a budget.

Get to Wil Wheaton's table first thing so I can sign-up for his D&D Dungeon Delve? Do go on... I may need to follow your lead on this one.

You haven't heard about this yet? Hooo boy...

Wil does this occasionally to raise money fr the Child's Play charity. We wrote this adventure (a "Dungeon Delve") and will be running it as the DM for a few lucky fans. You have to make some donation to Child's Play (I think the last time he did it it was $50 per person), and according to those who attended the last one Wizards of The Coast gives you a huge bag full of swag WELL worth the cost of admission. Of course that's NOTHING compared to being able to say "Wil Wheaton? Yeah, I gamed with him" :)

Link to Wil's blog telling a bit more about it: http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2010/03/piles-of-magic-armor-are-hoarded-in-the-southern-caves.html

Fifty bucks for (allegedly) $100 worth of Wizards of The Coast stuff to put on Ebay *AND* the ability to say "Wil Wheaton is my Dungeon Master"? I can't pass that up!
