I only attended 3 panels this year, but they were DOOZIES! And they were Back-to-back-to-back! My Darling Wife went and got us seats early, so we were in the third-row CENTER for all three; Wil Wheaton, Leonard Nimoy and Stan Lee!
In our group were My Darling Wife, Haley, Brittany, Jeremy and his Lady (whom I refuse to remember the name of).
It's all a blur for me... a 3-hour happy blur. Wil Wheton was once again a KING among men playing to a crowd of adoration. Leonard Nimoy was as wise and inspirational as you would expect Spock to be. Stan Lee was...
Stan Lee was like listening to my Dad tell jokes. Everything he said had a tone to it like he had been telling these stories for so long now that he knew exactly the best way to tell them. The right places to pause, the right places to throw in a chuckle, the right place to act shocked by what was coming out of his mouth. And i sat there eating it up, feeling like a kid seeing Santa for the first time. It was magical for me :)
