WELCOME TO MY SECRET CLUB!!!

I used to have all my Livejournal posts automatically cross-post to Facebook, but tonight I decided to drop that. Since the whole thing with my Dad having his stroke (OMH I FORGOT TO TELL LJ THAT MY DAD HAD A STROKE LAST WEEK), there are way too many family members watching and judging my every move over there.
So from now on, FaceBook and LJ will be seperate-but-equal parts of the Internet Mullet; Business up front (FB), Party in the rear (LJ)!
Maybe half of you who see my posts HERE are also friends on FaceBook. Let's just keep this our little secret, shall we? This will be my place where I can be inappropriate, rude, vent, yell, whatever. And you, my truested long-time LJ friends, will be the only ones to witness it!
Some things will still get cross-posted, but if they do it'll be on *purpose* instead of just automatically done for me.
I love and miss the freedom to write that LJ gives me! Freedom to expand! Freedom to be anonymous! Freedom to just be ME! I had forgotten how good it feels to just WRITE!
The post I made just a few minutes ago, the one about Molly's first comic book experience... I had finished writing it in just 3 lines because FaceBook has forced me to think like that. So I went back and filled in the details. Why was this important to me? How was this different? What did she get? These are the things I'll want to remember some day.
I hope I never forget that again.
