Melatonin Update
Aug. 2nd, 2011 02:26 pmI have mixed feelings about Molly taking the Melatonin, and I meant to bring this up to
khristle first but thought I should write it down NOW so i don't forget...
The Melatonin at night has worked WONDERS for Molly. Before Melatonin, she and I would stay up till all hours of the night (and morning) trying to fall asleep. Now that she's taking it, though, it rarely takes more than a few pages of reading (10 to 15 minutes tops) for her to fall asleep. This is important because we start Kindergarden next month and she'll need to be there at ungodly early hours.
However, here's my concern.
Every morning, Molly and I have a routine, she wakes up and calls for me, I come snuggle with her and ask her what she dreamed about. Before the Melatonin she would tell me all sorts of awesome, fantastical and downright bizarre tales... or at the very least say that she dreamed about Candy and Popsicles :)
Since she's been taking the Melatonin, hwever, she can't remember what she dreamed about :(

It may not be harmful but not remembering her dreams might be hampering her creativity.
