Don't know how to deal with it

captain_slinkyJust waiting for Crystal to get home so I can drive up to Mount Vernon again; my Dad is back in the Hospital :( Heart attack that they have to do a surgery for, huge risk of Kidney Failure and/or Stroke :(
My job is to be The Merry-Maker in these situations. I make the jokes, I keep spirits up, I make sure nobody dwells on the negatives. I'm not much in the mood for it right now, though... I'm in a lot of pain. I threw my back out on Thanksgiving day, I can barely stand up or sit down or walk or lay down... I need ice and ibuprofin and rest and I already know I'm grumpy from all the pain and sleeplessness... I'm going to be useless and I'm going to fail at this no matter what I do :(
