Day 32: Field Trip

Today I was a chaperon for Molly's very first ever School Field Trip - The Bellevue Art Museum! It was a quick and dirty Field Trip because these are kindergardeners with very short attention spans, so we were there just to see the exhibit on designer Roger Nelson (Google if you really want to know more).
I was in charge of 4 children; Molly, Hit-Girl, Quiet Boy and The-Jerk-Who-Will-Probably-Be-Molly's-Prom-Date-Because-AAAAAAAAUGH-That-Kid-Got-On-My-Nerves.
I kept them all in line by telling them lies and making outrageous claims all day long.
"You have to sit up straight and face forward on the bus or The Bus Driver will kick you off the bus and make you walk home... do you know how to get home from here?"
"If you don't stay with me and do as I say, Mrs. Teacher won't let you go on any more Field Trips and she'll also put a note in your PERMANENT RECORD telling all your future teachers that you aren't allowed to go."
"Stop fighting! If you're still angry about it when we get back to the school I'll give you both knives and you can fight it out in the playground"
Yes I may have traumatized them, but I've ALSO given them all an EXCELLENT story to tell the other kids when they're older :)
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: A kid puked on the bus ride home. A field trip just ain't a Filed Trip with a kid "Blowing Chunks" on the bus ride, is it?
